| Determined Promise 2004 (DP-04) |

| Determined Promise is a multi-level major exercise for the Department of Defense's newest combatant command, Northern Command. It tests NORTHCOM's ability to respond to multiple, simultaneous homeland defense and federal relief events. DP-04, which took place 5-10 August 2004, was designed around events in California and Virginia. CAW was NORTHCOM's Executive Agent for the California events, responsible for developing and planning the California portion of the exercise. |
